The first is a solo business owner whose business isn’t working for them – they are enslaved to it! They know they want things to be better but they don’t know what to do to make their businesses succeed and they don’t know how to do it. They are time-poor but have some money to invest – and the inclination – to make significant changes!
The second is a business owner of a small (up to 20 employees and / or £1m turnover) whose business is limited because nothing is “joined up” and many tasks are repetitive – and data is duplicated in many different systems. They want to grow the business, and also be less “involved” on a daily basis.

After many years in corporate life as a programmer and then business analyst I set up my first business in 2002 providing software solutions to small businesses – mainly in the Accounts / CRM / ERP space. I set up Wildcat Solutions in 2008 to provide more process oriented support for small business owners – I believe that software and apps won’t work for you unless you understand the underlying business processes.
More recently in addition to project work I have been focusing on moving more business online, and aim to provide a variety of services including single online courses, longer programs of learning and 121 coaching. The goal is the same – to provide small and solo business owners with the skill, expertise and support they need to sustain and grow their businesses – to provide them with the life they want to lead.
