Personal Bio:

I’m Erica, a pragmatic hope-maker, radical empath and rebellious ambivert. My mission is to disrupt the impact of relational trauma and I do this in a variety of ways.

As a Registered Forensic Psychologist and Registered Coaching Psychologist, and imagineer founder of Hope-Makers Ltd, I harness hope theory to help changemakers and visionaries create the impact they desire whilst also fending off burnout. My signature programme, Balanced Empowerment, launches in June 2021.

As a former university research professor with 20 years experience of working in the field of domestic violence prevention I also provide consultancy and training on issues around these topics and offender rehabilitation more broadly. I also continue to publish on these topics in academic journals and books. I have published more than 60 articles, written two books, and co-edited three others.

As host of The Hope-Makers podcast, I shine a light on the stories of professionals who have overcome challenges and gone on to create businesses with a social impact designed to create hope for other people.

I have also walked the walk of childhood relational trauma and understand how long lasting and incapacitating its effects can be.
