Personal Bio:

Hari-kirtana das is an author, speaker, mentor, and teacher who’s been practicing yoga and meditation for over 40 years. He’s lived in devotional yoga ashrams and intentional spiritual communities, worked for Fortune 500 companies and Silicon Valley start-ups, and brings a wide range of spiritual knowledge and life experience to his classes, workshops, and courses.

A lifelong student of spiritual philosophies and yogic practices, Hari-kirtana began a professional career in 1984 that included creative, training, and marketing positions with major financial services firms and video technology industry leaders. He eased out of his business career in 2007 to return his full attention to the study and practice of yoga and meditation. He began his current career in 2009.

Hari is a long-standing faculty member of numerous Yoga Teacher Training programs and regularly contributes articles about yoga philosophy to a variety of journals. His book, In Search of the Highest Truth: Adventures in Yoga Philosophy, is a look at the modern world through the lens of ancient yoga wisdom. His talent for making complex ideas easy to understand, passion for critical thinking, and quick sense of humor have made Hari a sought-after speaker and workshop facilitator.
