This coming December will see the publication of Marc’s first book, ‘To Hell & Back… And Then Some!’…
He also has a new podcast show which focuses on inspirational people who have turned their lives around.
With the book in the pipeline and podcast in full flow, Marc is looking to arrange speaking events and presentations around the topics of his new book, as well as reaching out to discover new guests, with inspiring stories to be on his show.
He works with groups and teams, as well as individuals, helping them to improve their performance and productivity in all areas of life. Therefore speaking events within organisations and businesses are welcomed. Marc conducts workshops and seminars focusing on the core energy coaching process has not only helped him completely change his life, but how it can help you do so as well.
Working 1-2-1, Marc offers clients the opportunity to learn and start practicing a life changing philosophy and way of being. His Foundations program helps people to create a strong mental balance and structure which enables them to consistently be at their best and most productive. Also offering workshops, seminars and inspirational speaking engagements.
Having enjoyed a loving and happy childhood, Marc encountered a set of life altering experiences which led to him developing a set of anti-social beliefs and attitudes as a result of being badly bullied at school. This led Marc down a destructive road, which saw him become in involved in a gang, drugs, and violence.
Having pulled away from that world, and started to build a new life with a good job and, on the surface, happy lifestyle, Marc found himself in a situation one night in December 2010, which would change his life forever…
At a work Christmas party between two rival branches of the car dealership he worked for, a fight broke out between four men from a rival branch and one young man from Marc’s dealership. This led to Marc’s girlfriend being abused after she attempted to intervene. After some arguing, Marc was attacked and badly assaulted. Leaving him hospitalised.
After release from hospital, Marc was shocked to discover it was he who was being held accountable and was subsequently changed and convicted of assault himself. This led to him being imprisoned with an IPP sentence, which is essentially a life sentence with no release date.
Whilst in prison attempting to clear his name, Marc suffered a set on unimaginable events. Firstly, losing his mother, through cancer within only two weeks of diagnosis. This was followed only three months later when his father died suddenly of a cardiac arrest, whilst talking to Marc on the phone. Over the course on just one year, Marc lost no fewer than 31 people, animals and things that he loved. Including the family home. Finally suffering a breakdown when on discovering that his ex-girlfriend was secretly dating his best friend, he took an overdose.
Thankfully, Marc survived this and reached a turning point. He decided that he no longer wanted to be a victim of his circumstances, and instead chose to take full responsibility of his thoughts, feelings, and actions. He started a degree, as well as working in the prison teaching Critical Reasoning Skills, and mentoring young men within the system. Finally,after six years he secured his release, against the odds, having been told he would never be released.
Following release Marc trained as a professional coach with the institute of professional excellence in coaching, the number one coach training school worldwide. After two years, he graduated and now runs his own coaching and speaking practice. Currently authoring his first book, ‘To Hell & Back… And Then Some!’, Marc now works 1-2-1 with clients, and in groups, using a unique and ground-breaking process called the ‘Core Energy Coaching process’.
