Is your clutter clogging your business?

We are now well into May, and if you are anything like most speakers, authors and coaches, you’ve had some good intentions of clearing up and cleaning out things but have not quite managed to get round to it! There’s a long (long!) bonus Bank Holiday coming up in the UK. We’re using this as a reminder for you to do some spring cleaning in your business to really help set you up for the summer and beyond!

Think about it — when was the last time you took at look at your Google drive, your Dropbox or your iCloud and gave it a ‘tidy’? What about all those duplicate pictures and files? Those documents that you had all good intentions of storing away straight away — that are still sitting in your downloads folder, without a home they can easily be found in. What about your phone? When was the last time you did a phone ‘app cull’ — going through what you have vs what you use?!

Energy is the key to a thriving business.

Things clogging up your systems, taking up your storage unnecessarily and overflowing chaos can make your life and business a little sluggish. These can all slow you down, literally and metaphorically. If you’ve nodded a yes to any of the things above, the chances are that if you do the clean up, your business will take on a new lease of energy and upturn too.

Book in a couple of hours (or more if you need it!), roll up your sleeves and get to work on clearing those emails or organising those files. You’ll feel so much better for it — and less frustrated next time you go to look for something or update some app and realise you just don’t have the megabytes to do it. 

Sometimes, a spring clean comes in the form of an update.

Does your website need a revamp, do your headshots need redoing (or maybe you’ve lost weight, changed your hair, or maybe you are just tired of the pictures you’ve currently got)? Maybe it’s time for your lead magnet to get a new angle?
