This time of year is a great time to connect to all those in your world — your current clients, your past clients and any of those people who are sitting around the edges of wanting to work with you.
This week is a particularly great one to think about sending out things for the Christmas season, just right for starting to think about who might need to hear from you, and not late enough for it to be a mad rush to get something out to them!
Are you sending Christmas cards this year? Better get to organising that if you’ve not yet. Or maybe you’re not a cards person? If so, how might you mark the occasion? Is it that donation to the charity you’ve always supported?
We say this because it’s always good to remind people that you exist and this time of year is a natural time to do so. Your crowd will want to hear about what you are doing, have done or are intending. So whatever way you choose to connect, please do.
Most people say that the start of December and certainly the middle onwards becomes dead time marketing wise. We think it’s the other way around, because we are always focused on connecting. Try it, it might just work wonders for lining up some unexpected conversations this coming month or even in January.
